The day will begin with fairly sunny weather. As the hours pass, the clouds will increase from the west and the first showers will form in the afternoon. In the evening and into the night, rainfall will spread over the entire territory.
The currents will be southwesterly due to the approach of a depression over the Mediterranean.
Temperatures dropping markedly
On Thursday, the weather will initially be rainy. In the course of the day, northerly currents will tend to dry out the air in the valleys, while in the Dolomites and Pustertal the precipitation will be even more persistent. The snowfall limit will fall here from 2800 to 2000 m, along the alpine crest down to 1500 m. Temperatures will fall markedly.
On Friday, clouds will prevail on the border ridge with occasional precipitation. Towards the south, the wind from the north, at times strong, will disperse the clouds.
Still windy weather over the weekend. On Saturday, very cloudy skies with light precipitation on the border ridge.
Sunday the weather will be sunny again.
