On September 30 2017, the cattle will make their way down from the pastures and back to their own stables in the valleys for the winter, accompanied by great festivities in Ridnaun. This celebration also looks back on a long tradition in the Ratschings Valley. The cows are beautifully bedecked as they wend their way home from the pasture: the lead cow, and all those following, are all festooned in fir-green wreaths embellished with inscriptions and ornate embroidery. Come and experience this traditional summer’s-end celebration with music, dance and all manner of culinary delights at the Schneeberg Family Resort & SPA, right at the very entrance of the cattle procession. The event features folk-music entertainment, performances from the "Goasslschnöllern” whip-crackers, a vibrant farmers market and a whole lot of cheer.
