In recent years, the winter inauguration in Ratschings has become a crowd-pulling festivity that has also drawn many top acts, including DJ Ötzi, DJ Antoine and Kungs. This year, however, the festival is really getting down to business: On 1st December, the 2,000-3,000 visitors expected will be warming up to the beats of none other than Norwegian star DJ Alan Walker with hits including "Sing me to sleep", "Alone" and the world hit, "Faded". On 2nd December, Dutchman Nicky Romero will be at the decks, after having performed the previous evening at the night before at the Ministry of Sound in London. Given the popularity of the event, a third floor will be set up this year: The aim of the event is to promote the Ratschings ski area, particularly with younger people, and offer them not only skiing but also outstanding entertainment. Here at 1,300 to 2,150m above sea level you will find 25 km of snow-guaranteed slopes as well as ultra-modern and lifts and cable cars of outstanding performance. The new 8-person gondola guarantees particularly comfortable transport at the highest technical level. Pure ease and comfort is also ensured by the garage, with 280 parking spaces. Snowboarders and freestylers will find an outstanding terrain park with a wave line for beginners, a jib line for the bolder and a kicker line for professionals. The whole organisation is a guarantee of non-stop fun and a healthy dose of adrenaline. A 2-day festival pass costs €30 (advance booking only), and a day pass from the ticket office € 25.
