A well-known motto in South Tyrol says: "Happiness resides where people live in solid faith. " Therefore you will find many beautiful churches and chapels throughout the country. In the immediate vicinity there are three very special houses of worship, which are absolutely worth a visit.
In 1764, the construction of the parish church of St. Joseph under the direction of the architect Rupert Röck started. Admire the Rococo style and the unique ornaments and stucco of the church.

But also the church of St. Lawrence and the St. Magdalen Church can look back on a historic past and will surprise you with blissful peace and beauty.
Also friends of the arts and museum lovers will get what they are looking for in South Tyrol. The famous mountaineer Reinhold Messner chose his native region to host his museums. In general, our country has experienced many adventures and all these stories are now being told in the numerous museums.

The Monteneve Mine Museum was once one of the largest mines in Europe. In almost one millennium, many miners carved for precious silver, lead and zinc. The mine finally closed its doors in 1985 and today it offers unique and realistic insights into mining history. Discover the past to learn for the future!
The Hotel Schneeberg and the Hotel Pulvererhof in Val Ridanna are located close to the mine museum and are a great starting point for exploring the surroundings.
